Caleb, let me give you my rendition of him, and you can see if you agree or not. First, you look at the symbol on the Seal of Danzalthar, and you can see that it's clearly at least a bit Satanic- taking that you can thereby conclude, based on Caleb's outfit, that he is a Cleric whom the First got to go astray- clearly: if he understood Anything about what is the proper definition of a "woman's place" he'd show them respect, as they share traits with someone he should regard as a boss of his! He's betrayed his Maker and joined up with the Devil- known in that series as "The First Evil"- pretty clear connotation, no?
